Derek Jackson M. Sc., B. Sc. Tech., has a background in chemical engineering and is a UK Chartered Patent Attorney and Registered Trade Mark Attorney, a European Patent Attorney and a European Community Trade Mark and Design Attorney. Before establishing Derek Jackson Associates in 1990 he has worked in private practice and has also set up and run an industrial patent department.
Tony Matthews B. Sc. has a degree in chemistry and marine biology. He joined Derek Jackson Associates in 2001 and has taken a number of examinations towards becoming a patent and trade mark attorney. Prior to joining the firm Tony had worked for ten years in research and development and is named as inventor in a number of patent publications.
